C-SPAN will continue its annual tradition of LIVE coverage of the White House Correspondents Dinner from the Washington Hilton. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is the entertainment guest this year, and President Obama is also expected to make remarks. We will also show red carpet arrivals of the various celebrities and media personalities that attend the event, taped interviews, and some footage of pre-party activitiy.
Coverage begins at 6:30pm ET this Saturday, April 28. You can watch on C-SPAN or our companion page, http://www.c-span.org/WHCD, where in addition to video coverage we will have social media comments from celebrities, media, and our viewers (using the hashtag #WHCD or #nerdprom). You can also look back at past dinners headlined by comedians like Seth Meyers, Jay Leno, Wanda Sykes, Craig Ferguson, Rich Little, and Stephen Colbert.
